Arrowhead Country Club provides 27-hole golf course. The golf complex designed by Raymond Floyd and Tom Jackson. The facility furnished by Bermuda grass fairways and NEW Mini-Verde greens, along the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway. Every nine layout is unique, featuring occasional hills, hardwood wetlands and the most purfect-groomed holes in the area.
The first nine called The Cypress course lies throughout a natural Carolina hardwood wetland. Designers took great care to preserve the natural surroundings. Holes #2, #3, and #4 are three of the most picturesque holes in USA. This course features barriers protected greens, gradually undulating fairways and huge extra areas.
The second nine holes are The Lakes course is challenging and daring nerves layout. The Par 5 hole #3 is especially tough, with its bulk headed green, protected by water on the front side.
The 3d nine is The Waterway, a classic design featuring wide fairways, large greens and elevated tee boxes. The most interesting is Par 4 hole 5 which measures 387 yards bordering the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
The course was marked out for its uniqueness in 1998, being voted by the National Golf Course Owners Association as the "South Carolinas Golf Course of the Year."
Arrowhead country club is situated within five minutes of the Myrtle Beach International Airport. The Country Club offers such teaching facilities as a chipping and putting area, driving range, bar and grill, and a well stocked pro-shop. The Club is opened year round. Arrowhead golf course is widely renown for its stably great conditions, reasonable greens fees, free range balls and yardage books, and staggered, all-day tee times.
