The golf club Schloss Sch?nborn is more than just a golf club. Everybody who plays golf in Sch?nborn, meets everywhere the Austrian history and tradition. The perfectly renovated castle, which is available today to the club, was built from 1712 to 1717 by Lukas von Hildebrandt as a summer seat for imperial vice chancellor Friedrich Karl von Sch?nborn at that time.
The golf course opened in 1989 on the 104 hectare castle park connects sport and physical experience. Unlike many other courses the scenery was not modeled artificially, but was used as an existing frame optimally. The elegant atmosphere of the castle and the castle park also has an effect to the club.
