The Links Lady Bay Resort is situated on the edge of the magnificent Lady Bay adjacent to the seaside town of Normanville. Featured with championship golf course and stunning ocean views the Resort is full of magnetism and quality, reflecting the unique character of the Southern Fleurieu. The Links is easily reached from the cosmopolitan buzz of Adelaide only one hour by car, yet it is far enough away to enjoy the tranquillity and brilliance of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The Lady Bay Resort is a place with rich local heritage. Established by the Crawfords and Clarks as a farm where sheep and cattle peacefully walked, lately the land was transformed by Mike Hill into a championship sand based Links Golf Course. Designed by Jack Newton, Graeme Grant and John Spencer in 1998, The Links is currently ranked number 52 in the Top 100 Australian golf courses. Gently waving couch fairways and vast, smooth and subtle bent greens need the kind of shotmaking required at Scottish and Irish links. The course also features Classic bunkering and strategic lakes and is fully irrigated.
The Resort hotel and clubhouse were complete in 2004 with restaurant and conference facilities and opened in conjunction with apartments alongside St. Andrews Boulevard. The clubhouse overlooking the course offers a great place to relax and enjoy the fantastic views of the Fleurieu Coastline.
The Links has a stunning location, catering to 200 people, superb dining and conference facilities, nationally recognised golf course, cellar door and diverse local activities and more than that is the perfect conference and incentive solution. Here guests can enjoy sand dunes, sweeping beaches, village atmosphere and so much of the lifestyle to absorb with the friends and colleagues. This area is the home to the Leafy Sea Dragon, wine enthusiasts, being less than 30 minutes from McLaren Vale wine region, and charming local markets. Travellers from all over the world are drawn to this seaside haven and its pristine natural splendour.
