Alfr?dov is one of the longest golf courses in the Czech Republic. Covering a total area off 55ha, situated in picturesque countryside bordered by woods and water, with a hundred year old lime tree alley running through the grounds.
The course is excellent for golfers who prefer less technical courses. There is enough room, so if the direction of your shot is a bit inaccurate every now and then, you are usually forgiven. Alfr?dov has various surprises in store for you. Some holes, for example, can be played either one of two ways. Everyone who considers bunkers a nightmare can relax here. The course as a whole is very enjoyable, not in the least due to its typically peaceful atmosphere that has remained undisturbed by civilisation.
Due to its low elevation and favourable climatic conditions, Alfr?dov is able to offer a never-ending season of golf by remaining open all year round. This means that you are welcome to visit the Plze? region’s “Mecca of Golf” and play anytime.( During the winter it is, however, advisable to phone and check the current conditions before setting out .)
