This eighteen-hole course, which is situated on the eastern outskirts of Prague, opened in 2004. The front nine is rather flat, which, at first glance, may give you the false impression that the course is quite easy, or even dull. But don’t let yourselves be fooled. It can be both tricky and charming. The ninth hole will take you all the way to France’s Royal Mougins, hole thirteen will remind you of the famed Road Hole in St. Andrews, while the deep pot bunkers that you need a ladder to get in and out of are on par with those traditionally found in Scotland. Moreover, the back nine is styled differently. Although it incorporates some classic links elements, it is designed as a modern golf course, where even areas around fairways and landing zones have been somewhat shaped. Its most notable characteristic is the size of its elevated greens, which also happen to be protected by bunkers. The wind that is typical of links courses will not make it easy for you either.
