The 36-hole championship course in the foothills of the Beskydy Mountains is part of one of the largest resorts in the country. It stretches over an area of 140 hectares. The first eighteen, called The Old Course, was designed by prominent golfer Miguel Angel Jim?nez and opened in 2001. The second nine, known as The New Course, was first played on in 2003. This hilly course is quite long and rather difficult due to its narrow fairways, bunkers, water hazards and large and atypically shaped greens. The front nine of The New Course, which is rather flat with typical links features, is the only part to differ from the overall character of the course. The resort is complemented by the modern Prosper Horse Ranch riding-school and the Alpine Mountain Golf Hotel, which make it an ideal place for family holidays. Note: This difficult course requires a great deal of accuracy and is intended for players with a maximum handicap of 36.
