The project proposal of the golf course in Ropice was made by one of the most important European architects, Austrian Hans George Erhardt, whose sense of beaty for foothill nature has originated a unique golf course in the Czech Republic. Interestingly shaped greens, beautiful and exceptional holes and wonderful panoramic views of the Beskydy Mountains, all of which satisfy the passionate heart of every golfer.
The course is well arranged, with a number of deep bunkers and rolling terrain, fully-grown trees, water hazards and uniquely shaped greens. It offers a magnificent golfing experience to players of all categories, and yet professional tournaments can be held here as well. One interesting fact about the course: each hole has a name, and so you walk through the Window to Paradise to the Colosseum and continue across the Wavy Sea to the clubhouse, which has an unusual oval shape.
An 18-hole course of links type is in excellent condition and designed for golfers with a minimum 54 HCP. With its parameters it meets requirements for holding challenging championship tournaments fulfilling the criteria of the Professional Golf Association. The course is architectonically designed so that every player comes into his or her own. The first nine will set you in and warm you up for the game. The difficulty will increase with the second nine and checks the player's golf skills.
