The course is situated near Lake Lipno, which is one of the most popular holiday resorts in the Czech Republic. The apartments, the beaches, marinas and the services on offer radiate an atmosphere of a summer seaside resort. The course, on the other hand, uses the natural characteristics of the hilly landscape with a unique view over the lake. The front 9, which was designed by the prominent European golf architect, Hans-Georg Erhardt, opened in 2002, and the back 9 opened in 2006. You will see wide fairways and cascading ponds, but no level ground. The hilly front 9 pushes unfit players to their limits. However, it is an marvelous opportunity to discover both the beauty and toughness of the south Bohemian ?umava Mountains. The design of the less demanding public course, which is available to beginners, is also interesting.
